This beef and broccoli stir fry with the total of 514 calories and 48 grams of protein, is a perfect dish for weight watchers. Preparation: Broccoli and Beef

First cut two heads of broccoli which with its stems and florets is 230 calories in total. Cut the florets into smaller sizes which you prefer because they take less time in cooking.

There’s no need to throw the stems away — chop them up as well; they are very nutritious and taste a little sweet.

For the protein part, I take 1 kilo (2. 2 pounds) of rump steak, which yields 1250 Kcals for the whole portion.

Pro tip: before slicing it is even easier if the steak is placed in the freezer for about 30minutes.

Cut off as much fat, sinew or silverskin as possible and slice the meat across finely to make most of the fibres shorter.
