But as a way of creating a backdrop to all that is about to follow, I feel it is necessary to recount my personal experience of losing weight. I’ve shed the pounds — about 40 pounds to be exact, if the scale is to be believed.
I have never been a very large person; nonetheless, the highest weight I obtained was 160 pounds, which was quite significant for me. I did not take pictures of this period as I was shy, but the change was gradual and in phases.
